Wipro joins hands with Sanovi to offer a first-of-its-kind service – “Disaster Recovery Assurance” to customers.

Wipro has formed this key alliance with Sanovi under the “Software as a Service (SaaS)” model, which will now enable customers to benefit from Wipro’s strong service experience coupled with Sanovi’s powerful tool for disaster recovery management.

Wipro’s DR Assurance service will ensure seamless and uninterrupted functioning of DR operations and the outcome is total reliability and peace of mind for you. Through the service, Wipro provides end to end management for Disaster Recovery, from solution design to implementation as well as continuous monitoring and support.

During the sustenance phase of the DR setup, organizations face several challenges which include

  1. Concerns about recovering applications within defined SLA’s
  2. Readiness of DR assets and applications
  3. Manual processes and workflows leaving room for errors
  4. Low DR expertise within the organization
  5. Changes in the setup that can affect availability or recovery

DR Assurance services has been introduced by Wipro Infotech to address these challenges.

Four services are offered under the DR Assurance services umbrella. They are:

Pro-active DR - Pro-Active DR resolves deviations or changes which can compromise on DR availability and alerts the customer about these.  With Pro-Active DR, you gain visibility into DR infrastructure health and recovery point objective (RPO). Automated audit and compliance reports are also provided.

Pro-Active DR is carried out through Wipro’s ExpertConnect  where a single console portal is created for all heterogeneous technologies and applications to monitor DR centrally.
DR Drill – Through DR Drill, the entire DR Drill procedure including pre-checks and operational steps are automated. DR Drill procedure can enable reduction in drill times upto 70% and drill effort time reduction upto 75%. A detailed drill execution history report is also provided which can be utilized for audit and compliance purposes.
DR Recovery – DR Recovery is a unique service that automates the recovery workflow. It provides real-time visibility into recovery time objectives. This is a Tool lead approach that increases failover recovery reliability and ensures higher predictability. The key benefits are reduction in recovery effort time upto 60% and actual recovery time upto 70%.

DR Continuity - The DR Continuity Service is a combination of all the above services and provides total DR assurance. The service offers end-to-end DR operations management and leads to key benefits such as high visibility into DR infrastructure health and real-time RPO, automation of DR Drills, real-time visibility into recovery time objectives and automated audit and compliance reports.
